On the role of following medical recommendations in the effective treatment of chronic cardiovascular and psychiatric diseases.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are delighted to invite you to participate in the nationwide educational program entitled "The role of adhering to medical recommendations in the effective treatment of chronic cardiovascular and psychiatric diseases" aimed at patients suffering from the aforementioned diseases.

The World Health Organization estimates that in developed countries, only half of patients with chronic diseases adhere to therapeutic recommendations (1). Research conducted shows the image of a Polish patient who does not trust their treating physician completely, which translates into non-adherence to medical recommendations and much less effective treatment.

We would like to contribute to changing these statistics, and therefore we are initiating a program whose primary goal is to educate patients about the importance of adhering to medical recommendations in the effective treatment of chronic diseases and support compliance using telemedicine.

Your participation and engagement will allow us to gain valuable knowledge necessary to take actions that will provide significant support and improve the quality of therapy for chronic diseases in Poland.

The program is open to specialist doctors: cardiologists, diabetologists, psychiatrists, and neurologists who run private practices and have access to tools enabling teleconsultations.

The program, conducted in an electronic version, assumes a three-stage patient education and will run from December 1st, 2016, to February 28th, 2017.

If you are interested in participating in the project, please register in the system and sign the online agreement.
